Curtain Walling Contract for Community Campus

Avtek Solutions has completed £400,000 contract to carry out the curtain walling, glazing and doors contract for the new Brechin Community Campus.

As part of the contract Avtek was responsible for the design, supply and installation of Metal Technology System 17 curtain Walling, System 4-35HI+ windows and System 5-20D doors incorporating Cool-Lite solar control high performance glazing.

All products were carefully selected to control the solar and light gain in the building and to ensure the project complies with the relevant U-Value requirements.

The contract also enabled Avtek to demonstrate their flexibility with the supply and installation of specialist automatic doors, steel doors and the installation of Velfac windows and doors.
