Avtek, one of the UK’s leading providers of Specialist Façade Solutions has secured another major curtain walling contract, this time at the Hopefield Joint Campus in Bonnyrigg.
Avtek will work in conjunction with main contractors McLaughlin Harvey and see the company take responsibility for the design, supply, manufacture and installation of Metal Technology curtain walling, windows and doors.
The two-storey new build, to be constructed upon the former Hopefield Primary School site in Bonnyrigg, will become a joint campus for both Burnbrae and St Mary’s RC Primary schools as well as being home to a nursery facility and grass pitch area.
Avtek expect work to start on site in June (2019) with completion expected by the summer.
Avtek Solutions’ Commercial Director, Ricky Shields, commented, “We differ from most specialist curtain walling contractors in that we don’t tender for every project that comes our way.
