Curtain walling and commercial glazing specialists, Avtek Solutions, are delighted to have been selected as Fife Business Awards 2018 finalists and look forward to discovering their fate when they attend the Fife Chamber of Commerce annual award ceremony in March.
The Dunfermline based company, which was only established in 2014, are one of three finalists to be nominated for the “Best Performing Business (under 50 employees)” category which recognises the sheer breadth of business success and ambition by businesses within Fife.
Having started out with only 5 employees, the company now employs over 25 staff and have recently appointed 2 new members to the team. With a huge focus on customer care and the ability to offer the complete turnkey solution with total control from the design, manufacture and installation, the company has seen its turnover rise to £4m in 2017.
With just over a month to go until the award night, Operations Director of Avtek Solutions, Mark Lawrie, states “As finalists, we are really excited to have come this far. We were named Skills Development Scotland’s Youth Employer of the Month early last year and want to build on this – its important to let our employees feel valued and know that they are working for a company who are striving for success”.
The winners will be announced during the ceremony, to be hosted by radio and TV personality Grant Stott, at the black-tie event on Friday 23rd March 2018 at the Glen Pavilion, Dunfermline.
