Another PASSIVHAUSE school completed for Avtek, our first in Edinburgh and first school with a swimming pool to achieve certification .

Great to take in the recently finished “Currie Community High School” which has now been opened since August 2025.

The new facility was designed by Architype and delivered by Kier Construction.

Avtek supplied Metal Technology Ltd high-performance curtain walling and window systems for the new, Passive House-certified school.

Products included System 5-45 Hi+ windows and System 17 Hi+ curtain walling to meet strict energy-efficiency standards.
